HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE MEDICINE HAT RIFLE AND
REVOLVER CLUB

1.  You must have a PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) to join the club.

2.  If not go to https://www.mhrrc.ca/certification-training for an instructor of Canadian Firearms Safety Course.

3. After you obtain your PAL, you must watch a video and successfully complete the Test.

4. Go to the website: https://www.mhrrc.ca and click on Orientation Video.

5.  Watch the Video in its entirety. Click on Orientation test.

6. To pass, you need a minimum 13 out of 15 correct answers.

7. Once you have passed the Test, you are eligible to a purchase membership at The Outdoorsman located at 1023 Allowance Ave SE in Medicine Hat, AB

8. Along with your completed Membership Certificate you will receive a Gate ID Card with your photo. Swipe your Gate ID Card over the card reader at the range to open and close the sliding gate.

9. Allow a MINIMUM 48 HOURS for processing of your membership and activation of your Gate ID Card.

10. The membership fees are as follows:

 Principal member $150/year

•  Associate member over 18 years $50

•  Associate member under 18 years $25

•  Guest passes are available for $25 each

• Please note only one guest is allowed per Principal member at the range

 Replacement Gate ID Cards are available for $10

When renewing your RPAL be sure to send the RCMP (cfpcfounit@rcmp-grc.gc.ca) a copy of your current range membership certificate along with a proof of purchase such as a cash register receipt.
